Pasquale DeVito has been cutting hair for more than 24 years, 19 at his own shop. He and his family recently relocated from the Boston area to Tampa, and is enjoying his new location.
Hair fashion trendsetter, Pasquale DeVito has lectured and taught hair designers his unique texturizing systems involving jagged, torn chunky and shattered haircut designs while always giving your hair a very healthy haircut and look.
Pat always found it frustrating to try to create perfect layers with his traditional scissors. “I always seemed to cut with the back side of my scissors trying to add texture but it would only cut straight lines,” so he decided to do something about it: he developed the INTEXT Shears. “Typically, a hairdresser will cut and shape hair while it’s wet and then after it’s dried, they go back and chip into it to add texture. I cut dry hair and by shaping it from the inside first. It’s basically sculpting.
